Painting
At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

The non-stick flower mold is the cake mold with a petal shape: the decoration is already incorporated into the mold, without elaborate icing or extra decorations. With the scratch-resistant, PFOA-free 7-layer coating, each petal emerges clearly defined without the edges breaking during unmolding. Mamù produces it in aluminum, available in three sizes. Made in Italy.
The flower mold: the cake already decorated by the mold
The flower mold has a direct aesthetic advantage: the decoration is already incorporated into the mold when the cake emerges. The clearly defined and symmetrical petals transform a simple sponge cake or an almond cake into an elaborate dessert. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with powdered sugar, and the cake is ready to serve.
The flower mold works even without cake decorating experience: the shape does the aesthetic work, you focus on the dough.
Removing the petals: the role of the coating
The flower petals are technically the most critical areas for demoulding: the concave curve between one petal and the next is the point where the dough tends to stick the most. With insufficient coating, the edges between the petals break, and the flower shape is no longer recognizable. With the 7-layer, scratch-resistant, PFOA-free coating, every curve between the petals stands out cleanly and the flower's contours remain defined.

- Flower-shaped almond cake: the compact mixture of almonds and eggs, served with powdered sugar to highlight the petals.
- Flower-shaped sponge cake: cut into layers and filled with cream and fruit, with the mold already decorated.
