Painting
At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

The nonstick crepe pan is the flat pan for crepes: very low or no edges at all to allow a spatula to slide under the crepe, a completely flat bottom for even cooking across the entire surface, and a scratch-resistant, PFOA-free coating for cooking with very little or no butter. Mamù produces the aluminum crepe pan directly in Italy. The same tool is suitable for pancakes, wraps, wraps, and other flat preparations that require a large, edgeless surface.
Nonstick crepe pan: why low edges make all the difference
The very low edges of the crepe pan allow you to slide a spatula under the crepe to flip it without damaging the edges. With a regular pan, high edges make it difficult to reach the crepe with the spatula without breaking or bending it. The flat, even bottom ensures the batter spreads evenly across the entire surface as soon as you pour it in.
With the scratch-resistant, PFOA-free coating, you can pour the batter onto a preheated surface without it sticking, and flip the crêpe precisely when it's done on the first side. The crepe maker heats quickly and maintains a stable temperature during subsequent cooking.
Three sizes for crepes and piadinas of all sizes
The Mamù crepe maker is available in three sizes:
- Small size: American pancakes, mini crepes, single portions
- Medium size Ø 24 cm: sweet and savory crepes, the classic shape of French recipes
- Large size Ø 28 cm: Romagna piadinas, large wraps, crepes with generous fillings

Other uses of the Crepe Maker
A crepe maker is useful for much more than just crepes. Romagna piadina requires a large, even surface: this is the perfect tool. Pancakes cook on a larger surface, so you can make several at a time. Reheated rice wraps and corn tortillas turn out well without drying out. For Asian cuisine, you can fry flat gyoza or rice fritters. The nonstick coating doesn't retain any batter residue, making cleanup a snap.
