Painting
At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

The non-stick plum cake pan is an elongated rectangular pan for breakfast cakes and other rectangular dishes: classic plum cakes, banana bread, lemon cake, homemade sandwich bread, baked meatloaf, and savory terrines. With its scratch-resistant, PFOA-free, 7-layer coating, you can easily unmold even the moistest doughs and butter-rich leavened products without breaking. Mamù makes it from aluminum and is available in three sizes. Made in Italy.
7-layer coating: unmold without baking paper
With leavened cakes, the risk is always the same: the plum cake sticks to the sides, breaks when unmold, and the visual result is compromised. With the 7-layer, PFOA-free, scratch-resistant coating of the Mamù loaf pan, the cake separates from the sides after cooling, leaving the surface intact. Just lightly press the edges.
There's no need to grease or flour the pan before pouring in the batter. There's no need to line it with parchment paper. Pour, bake, take out.
Three sizes for plum cakes of all sizes
The Mamù plum cake pan is available in three sizes:
- The small size is for single-serving cakes or 4-6 slices, useful when baking for 1-2 people or preparing individual portions
- The medium size is the classic size for 8-10 slices of breakfast plum cake, the standard size in Italian recipes
- The large size is for cakes to share, large loaves of bread, and generous savory terrines
Sweet and savory: the same shape, different uses
The elongated rectangular shape works for a wider range of preparations than you might think:
- Sandwich bread made in Home: the shape guides the lateral leavening and produces the characteristic square slices of sandwich bread.
- Baked Meatloaf: the meat remains firm during cooking and can be sliced precisely afterwards.
- Savory Terrines: vegetables, cheeses, and minced meats are molded into shapes and served sliced directly from the terrine.
- Savory Cakes: with olives, ham, and cheese, excellent as an appetizer or for buffets.
