At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

The nonstick pasta cooker is a pot with a built-in drainer: cook the pasta inside the basket, then remove the basket and drain without a colander, without lifting the pot full of boiling water. For those who make pasta every day, for those who have difficulty lifting heavy pots, for those who want to reduce the number of dishes to wash. Mamù produces it in PFOA-free nonstick aluminum, available in a classic version and an induction version. Made in Italy.
How the pasta cooker with basket works
The pasta cooker has a double-level structure: the outer pot contains the boiling water, while the inner basket, with holes on the bottom and sides, holds the pasta. Immerse the basket in the boiling water and cook as usual. When the pasta is ready, lift the basket with the removable handle: the water drains through the holes into the pot below, while the pasta stays in the basket. No need to search for a colander, no need to lift the pot, no risk of burning yourself from the steam.
The cooking water stays in the pot. Use it to stir the sauce: the starchy pasta water is the secret to a creamy sauce, and with the pasta cooker, you don't have to pour it down the sink.
Non-stick Pasta Cooker: The Classic Version
The non-stick pasta cooker with long handle has a PFOA-free, scratch-resistant coating on the inside of the pot. The pasta doesn't stick to the bottom during cooking, even in the final stages when the water may be low. The removable basket is made of aluminum, with calibrated holes to hold even short pasta without it falling into the pot. Available in a standard size for 3-4 servings.
Induction pasta cooker with extra-thickness
The induction version with extra-thickness has a reinforced base for induction hobs: water boils faster than a thin-bottomed pot, with heat distributed evenly across the entire base. Available in two sizes, compatible with gas, electric, glass ceramic, and induction.
Water and energy savings
The pasta cooker uses less water than a traditional pot: the internal basket reduces the volume of water needed to immerse the pasta. Less water means less time to boil and less energy consumed. Over time, the difference in gas or electricity consumption is tangible, especially for those who make pasta every day.
