Mamù Cookware

For over 70 years guided by passion, design and innovation Made in Italy

Mamù was born from the experience gained over 70 years of producing aluminum pans and pots. The first generation of the Mugnano family entered the world of cookware in 1950. In the 1960s, Mario Mugnano , still very young, took his first steps working in his father's factory, learning the secrets of the process.

After years of passion and dedication, Mario Mugnano brought his vision to life , creating his first company producing nonstick aluminum cookware with his sons. This same passion led his sons to work side by side with him.

Painting

At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

  • Surface pretreatment for perfect anchoring
  • High-resistance 7-phase painting cycle
  • Special finishes and stone effect

The non-stick omelette pan is a double pan made up of two mirrored halves that fold like a book: cook the frittata or omelette on one side, then flip the entire pan over to cook the other side, without having to perform the acrobatic maneuver with the spatula. The frittata cooks evenly on both sides, without the risk of breakage. Mamù produces it in PFOA-free non-stick aluminum, available in two sizes. Made in Italy.

How the omelette pan works

The two halves of the frittata pan are joined by a hinge or a double handle that holds them together. Pour the egg into the bottom half, cook on the first side with the lid closed, then grab both handles and flip the pan: the frittata slides to the opposite half and cooks on the other side. No risk of breaking it while flipping, no fiddly maneuvers with the spatula.

The PFOA-free, scratch-resistant coating on both halves prevents the frittata from sticking, on both sides. You can effortlessly flip it when it's ready.

Frittata Flipper vs. Regular Pan: The Concrete Advantages

Flipping a thick frittata in a regular pan requires a wide spatula, a steady hand, and a little practice. With the frittata flipper, none of this is necessary: anyone can flip it on the first try. The nonstick coating on both sides ensures even cooking and clean removal. For frittatas with a generous filling, tall frittatas, or very large ones that break when flipped, the frittata turner is the perfect tool.

Two sizes available

The Mamù frittata turner is available in two sizes: the smaller one for 2-3 egg frittatas for 1-2 people, and the larger one for large frittatas with 4-6 eggs for the whole family. Both have a PFOA-free, scratch-resistant coating on both cooking surfaces.

Other uses for the frittata turner

The double-pan system also works for other preparations that require cooking on both sides: stuffed omelets, tall pancakes, large stuffed fritters, and Spanish-style potato tortillas. Any preparation that requires flipping a tall, delicate disc in a normal pan can be handled with the frittata turner.
