Painting
At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

The non-stick lasagna pan is the pan with optimized proportions for lasagna: rectangular, with the height of the edges calibrated for 4-6 layers without overflowing, and the elongated shape for standard pasta sheets. With the 7-layer scratch-resistant, PFOA-free coating, the béchamel and ragù sauce don't stick to the bottom during cooking, and the lasagna comes off whole when cut without the first portion crumbling. Mamù produces it in Italy from high-quality aluminum.
7-layer scratch-resistant: the lasagna no longer sticks
The main problem when cooking lasagna is the burnt bottom: the béchamel sauce tends to stick and brown when in contact with the pan, and removing it after cooking requires soaking and strength. With the 7-layer PFOA-free scratch-resistant coating of the Mamù lasagne pan, you cook without béchamel sticking to the bottom, cooking remains uniform across the entire base and you can clean the pan in just a few seconds. Hot water and a soft sponge: that's all.
Four size options
The Mamù lasagnera is available in four sizes for every oven and serving size:
- The smallest size is for lasagna for 4-6 people, designed for more compact ovens.
- The medium size is the classic size for families, for Sunday lunches for 6-8 people.
- The larger sizes are for large lunches and for those who prepare a large amount of lasagna for storage.
Non-stick lasagnera vs. rectangular baking pan.
A standard rectangular baking pan can work for lasagna, but the lasagnera has proportions calibrated for standard pasta sheets: the layers cover the bottom without having to cut too much pasta. The edges are just the right height for 4-6 layers without the top bechamel overflowing. A specialized tool that gives more precise results than a generic baking pan.
Non-stick lasagna pan: other preparations
The lasagna pan also works well for layered pan dishes: eggplant and zucchini parmigiana, rice timbales, baked pasta dishes, vegetable gratins. Any preparation that requires overlapping layers benefits from the proportions of the lasagna pan. The elongated rectangular shape is also suitable for roasts that won't fit in a shorter pan.
