At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

Mamù's non-stick baking molds cover all the shapes you use in home baking: round, donut, heart, flower, daisy, star, caprese, pudding, and many more. All made in Italy, in PFOA-free 7-layer non-stick aluminum. Pour the batter directly into the mold without grease or butter. The cake comes out intact, and cleanup takes just a few seconds. 7-layer coating: unmold without breaking
The PFOA-free 7-layer scratch-resistant coating creates a surface that won't retain the batter, even with the most delicate pastries. Pour the batter directly into the mold, without grease, flour, or lining with parchment paper. The cake releases from the bottom with a light pressure. The edges of the decorated molds come out intact, without crumbling.
For cakes with embossed decorations—hearts, flowers, stars, and daisies—detachment is the critical point: the engraved details hold the dough in place, and the cake breaks during unmolding. With the 7-layer coating, the cake comes out intact, with all the details clearly visible.
All types of baking molds available
The Mamù baking molds range includes:
- Round cake mold: the basic mold for cakes, cheesecakes, and charlottes. Ten sizes, from compact to large for large lunches.
- Doughnut mold: with a central hole for the classic Italian doughnut. The heat rising from the hole also cooks the center evenly.
- Pudding mold: flared shape typical of puddings and flans. Two sizes available.
- Caprese mold: for Neapolitan Caprese cake. Three sizes available.
- Flower mold: for petal-shaped desserts. Three sizes available.
- Daisy mold: rounded petals, four sizes available.
- Heart mold: for Valentine's Day and gift desserts. Two sizes available.
- Star mold: for Christmas cakes and spiced breads.
How to use nonstick molds without parchment paper
With the 7-layer coating, you don't need to prepare the mold before pouring the batter. Make sure it's clean and dry, then pour directly in. For cakes with a lot of sugar, you can brush the edges with a little butter, but it's not necessary. After baking, let the cake cool for 10 minutes before unmolding: the residual heat will complete the process.
To clean: use hot water and a soft sponge. Abrasive sponges will scratch the coating and reduce its lifespan. Also avoid prolonged dishwasher use. With minimal care, Mamù molds maintain their nonstick properties for years.
