Painting
At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

The non-stick heart mold is the perfect mold for heart-shaped desserts: for Valentine's Day, anniversaries, romantic birthday cakes, and any occasion where you bring a dessert to the table that already has a gift in the mold. With the scratch-resistant, PFOA-free, 7-layer coating, the heart's edge comes out clean, preventing the lobes from breaking during unmolding. Mamù produces it from aluminum. Made in Italy.
The heart mold: shaping and unmolding
The heart mold is technically more complex to unmold than a round mold: the lobes at the top and the point at the bottom are the areas where the dough tends to stick the most. Tight corners, sharp curves, and places where shortcrust pastry or sponge cake can break if the coating isn't working properly.
With the 7-layer, PFOA-free, scratch-resistant coating of the Mamù heart mold, you get uniform release across the entire interior surface, including the most critical points: the lobes at the top and the tip at the bottom. The cake comes out with a defined heart shape, without any cracks in the corners.
