Verniciatura

A cookware set brings together several pieces from the same line, designed to work together, in a single purchase. In Mamù sets you find aluminium pots, casseroles, frying pans, sauté pans and roasting pans, almost all with the 7-layer Seven Stone non-stick and scratch-resistant coating, PFOA-free. Made in Italy.
Which cookware set to choose
Start from how many people sit at the table:
- 3 people, Small Family set: pot Ø18 cm, casserole Ø16 cm, frying pan Ø24 cm, sauté pan Ø20 cm and 25 cm roasting pan.
- 4 people, Medium Family set: pot Ø20 cm, casserole Ø18 cm, frying pan Ø28 cm, sauté pan Ø24 cm and 35 cm roasting pan.
- 5 people or more, Big Family set: pot Ø24 cm, casserole Ø22 cm, frying pan Ø32 cm, sauté pan Ø28 cm and 40 cm roasting pan.
If you already own a few pieces, in the 2- and 3-piece sets you choose the size of each item: pot and frying pan; pot, frying pan and sauté pan; frying pan, sauté pan and casserole; pot, frying pan and lid; or two pots in different sizes.
Non-stick or pure aluminium sets
The non-stick sets of the Janet 2.0 line are for everyday cooking with little fat: the 7-layer Seven Stone coating gives a clean release even with rich sauces and sticky dressings. The Chef set of the Cotture d'Amare line is in 99.5% pure aluminium with no coating: it responds immediately to the flame and suits high-temperature cooking. For large quantities of pasta water and broth there is the stockpot and lid set in white aluminium.
Which hobs they work on
Pots, casseroles, frying pans and sauté pans work on gas, electric and ceramic hobs, and are for the stovetop only. The roasting pan is the only piece that also goes in the oven. Non-stick pieces can be washed in the dishwasher at low temperature (max 45°C).
Why a set from the same line
All pieces share the same thickness and the same coating, so they heat up the same way: you quickly learn the cooking times and avoid duplicates in the cupboard. And a set costs less than buying the pieces one at a time.
