At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

The no-hole mold is the simplest and most versatile mold in the baking kit: round, flat bottom, and straight edges of medium height. It lacks the central hole of the bundt pan, the grooves of the American pan, and the special shapes of decorated tartlets. A single mold for dozens of different recipes, from apple pie to quiche, from tart to vegetable flan.

What is the holeless pan used for?
- Fruit cakes: apple cake, pear and chocolate cake, strawberry tart with custard

White Aluminum: Simplicity and Durability
The Mamù holeless pan is made of white aluminum, the historic material of Italian pastry making. White aluminum distributes heat evenly across the entire surface, has no non-stick coating to protect, and lasts for many years with minimal care: hand wash with hot water and detergent, then dry immediately. With use, the pan develops a natural patina that improves its baking properties.
To remove cakes from the white aluminum pan, butter and flour the pan before use or cover the bottom with parchment paper. Both techniques ensure a clean unmold without the cake breaking at the edges.
