At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

The Mamù non-stick cake pan is the versatile round baking pan in the most popular sizes for Italian cakes: round, with medium-height edges, a scratch-resistant, 7-layer PFOA-free coating, available in 10 sizes starting at €4.50. It's the basic pan for birthday cakes, tarts, sponge cakes, quiches, and any sweet or savory dish that requires a round pan. Made in Italy.
The cake pan: the basic tool for home baking
Every Italian kitchen needs at least one cake pan: the basic round pan used for birthday cakes, Sunday tarts, and sponge cakes filled with cream. It doesn't have the decorative star or heart shape, nor does it have the central hole of a donut. This is the pan used for most Italian cake recipes.
With 10 different sizes available, the Mamù cake pan covers all the diameters indicated in recipes: from the 14 cm individual cake to the 28 cm large cake. Having multiple sizes of the same pan gives you the flexibility to adapt to any recipe without forcing quantities.

- Sponge Cake: the base for all filled cakes, it is cut into layers, soaked in syrup, and filled with custard, whipped cream, or jam.

Ten sizes for every need
The Mamù cake pan is available in 10 sizes, starting from €4.50, the widest range in the Mamù line:
- 14-16 cm: for single-serving tarts and desserts for 2-4 people
- 18-20 cm: for cakes for 4-6 people Servings
- 22-24 cm: standard measurements for most Italian recipes, for 6-8 people
- 26-28 cm: for large cakes for 8-12 people and for special occasions
With 10 measurements, you can find the exact diameter for any recipe, without having to adjust quantities to an inappropriate measurement.
The 7-layer coating and cake demoulding
Removing the cake from the mould is where the quality of the mould really shines: with a poor or worn coating, the cake will stick to the bottom or edges, ruining hours of work. With the 7-layer PFOA-free anti-scratch coating of the Mamù cake mold, the cake comes away from the edges and bottom evenly after the standard resting time, 10-15 minutes after baking, without breaking.
