Sunday morning, you wake up, even though you don't want to leave your bed, and head to the kitchen for breakfast. You need a treat to start this day off right. In the real world, you'd make whatever you wanted; last week, you already made the crepe recipe , but you want something different. Since we're writing a blog post, we at Mamù Pentole have decided it's time to show off our pancake recipe.
Basic pancake recipe
To prepare this pancake recipe you won't need butter : with With Mamù's nonstick pans, you can cook with complete peace of mind and safety. Here's the procedure:
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, add the sugar (65 grams at least, but if you're a sugary person, you can add as much as you want ) and use the whisk gently. After a while, add the milk but continue beating the mixture for at least thirty seconds.
- Gradually add the sifted flour and baking powder: watch out for lumps forming during this stage. Around the time you feel excruciating pain in your arm, that's when you'll have a smooth, homogeneous dough.
Mamù pans for your pancakes
- Meanwhile, heat our non-stick pan . Remember that you don't have to use butter; the pan is designed for this type of thing. You'll have some pancakes without butter .
- Once you think the temperature is right, take a ladle of pancake batter and cook for at least four minutes. When you see bubbles forming on the surface, flip them and cook for another four minutes or so. Try not to squash them.
At this point, the pancake recipe is complete. You can remove them from the pan and focus on the filling. What will you choose? Nutella? Jam? Something savory?
