At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

The saucepan with two handles is the most stable and capacious shape in the casserole range. You can lift and carry the pot with both hands even when it's full of broth, ragù, or stew. For large cooking volumes, for large families, and for carrying the pot from the stove to the table without risk. Mamù produces it in PFOA-free nonstick aluminum, available in four different versions. Made in Italy.
Classic nonstick version: for everyday cooking
The saucepan with two handles in PFOA-free aluminum is available in seven sizes, from the most compact for 2-3 people to the largest for large families. The scratch-resistant coating prevents starchy foods from sticking to the bottom during long cooking times. Cook ragù, broth, and legumes without the risk of burning the bottom, and cleanup is quick and easy. The lightweight aluminum makes lifting easier, even when the large saucepan is full.
Heavy-Duty Induction Version
The heavy-duty, induction-resistant saucepan with two handles has a reinforced base for induction hobs: it withstands high temperatures without warping, with even heat distribution across the entire base. Six sizes are available, compatible with all hobs. The perfect version if you have an induction hob and frequently cook for the whole family.
White Aluminum Version with Iron Handle
The white aluminum saucepan with two handles with iron handle is the traditional Italian shape: natural aluminum without a non-stick coating, iron handles that support the weight of a full pot, and a generous capacity. Five sizes are available. Cook large quantities with a product that lasts for decades without special maintenance.
Non-stick Iron Version
The non-stick iron saucepan with two handles combines the strength of iron with a non-stick coating. Heavier than aluminum, it retains heat more consistently during slow cooking at a stable temperature. For braising, slow stewing, and prolonged low-heat cooking. Two sizes available.
How to choose the right size
The choice of the saucepan with two handles depends on the number of people and the type of cooking. For broths and ragùs, calculate about 1.5 liters per person. For dry cooking, a compact size is also sufficient for 4-6 people:
- Small (18-20 cm): 2-3 people, sauces, quick cooking
- Medium (22-24 cm): 4-6 people, the most commonly used size in cooking
