At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

The 24 cm nonstick frying pan is the intermediate size of the Italian frying pan: the most versatile, the one used as the main pan in many Italian kitchens. It cooks for two or three people and fits neatly on the stove. With its 7-layer scratch-resistant, PFOA-free coating, you can cook evenly and clean quickly. Mamù produces it from Italian aluminum. Made in Italy.
The 24 cm frying pan: the most versatile size
The 24 cm frying pan is large enough for the most common preparations, without becoming cumbersome. What's in it:
- Omelette for 3-4 people: 4-5 eggs make a omelette of the right thickness in a 24 cm pan
- Meat for 2-3 people: two steaks or three chicken breasts fit together without overlapping
- Fish for two: one large fillet or two medium fillets cook without being squashed
- Sautéed vegetables for 3 people: with 24 cm of surface area, vegetables sauté instead of stewing
- Sauces and condiments for 3-4 people: the sauce for a family meal, the sauce for baked pasta
- Small frying: cutlets, croquettes, Zucchini flowers
24 cm, 22 cm, and 26 cm frying pans: where to place them
The 24 cm frying pan occupies the middle position in the size range:
- Compared to the 22 cm: it cooks for more people, holds more food, and remains compact
- Compared to the 26 cm: it is easier to handle, heats up faster, and takes up less space on the stove. The 26 cm makes sense when you regularly cook for 4 or more people.
If you have to choose just one pan and cook for 2-3 people, the 24 cm is almost always the right one.
The 7-layer non-stick coating
The 7-layer, scratch-resistant, PFOA-free coating of the Mamù 24 cm pan distinguishes it from cheaper 1-2 layer pans. Seven layers mean:
