Who's up for chicken? It's easy to make in a pan, but preparing it well is an art. Chicken can be enhanced with traditional or unusual flavors, or paired with delicious side dishes. Today we're sharing a recipe that shouldn't be missing from your recipe collection: chicken with potatoes .
First, a few tricks of the trade: Want perfectly cooked, tender meat? Braise the chicken in wine and water, keeping the skin on. Then, bake it with the diced potatoes. But let's take it one step at a time.
Chicken with potatoes recipe procedure:
- Place the thighs in a pan, with a little wine.
- Add water, so that it covers three-quarters.
- Add the sliced onion, rosemary, salt and pepper.
- Cook over medium heat for about twenty-five minutes. Do not cover.
- Meanwhile, on a baking tray Arrange the washed and cut potatoes. Remember to dry them thoroughly before placing them on the baking paper.
- Season them with oil, salt, pepper, garlic and chopped rosemary.
- Mix with your hands, distributing the seasoning.
- Place in a preheated fan oven at 200° for at least half an hour.
- Arrange the chicken thighs between the potatoes and return to the oven until everything is golden brown. Then remove from the oven.

Ingredients for 6 people:
- 6 chicken legs
- 1 kilo of potatoes
- 200 ml of white wine
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 4 sprigs of rosemary
- Olive oil, salt and pepper to taste.
Of course, you can add whatever seasonings you like, and not necessarily (just) potatoes.
