Mamù Cookware
For over 50 years guided by passion, design and innovation Made in Italy
Mamù was born from the experience gained over 50 years of producing aluminum pans and pots. The first generation of the Mugnano family entered the world of cookware in 1970. In the 1960s, Mario Mugnano , still very young, took his first steps working in his father's factory, learning the secrets of the process.
After years of passion and dedication, Mario Mugnano brought his vision to life , creating his first company producing nonstick aluminum cookware with his sons. This same passion led his sons to work side by side with him.
The Mamù Horeca line includes pots, pans, casseroles, and accessories in white aluminum in large sizes for the foodservice industry: restaurants, bars, trattorias, and agritourism establishments that cook for many people every day. Sturdy construction, generous capacity, and iron handles for intensive use. Made in Italy.
What sets Horeca tools apart
In a restaurant or trattoria, you cook in larger quantities, for longer periods, with tools used every day at high temperatures for many hours. The Horeca Mamù line was created for these conditions:
- Large sizes: Horeca pots and pans range from 38 cm to 45 cm, for cooking for twenty, thirty, and fifty people.
- Iron handles: they do not deteriorate with intensive use and can support the weight of large dishes without bending.
- Sturdy white aluminum: the thickness is calibrated to withstand continuous daily use without warping.
- Cleanability: white aluminum can withstand the industrial detergents used in restaurant kitchens.
Products in the Horeca line
-
White aluminum pasta sauté pans in Horeca sizes: available in 36 cm and 40 cm for cooking and stirring large quantities of pasta. The long iron handle keeps the pan away from the heat while stirring.
- White aluminum pan, Horeca size: with iron handle, in the larger sizes for braising and stewing large quantities. For meat and fish main courses when cooking for many people.
- White aluminum saucepan with two handles, Horeca size: for soups, large risottos, and broths. With the two iron handles, you can move the full pot safely.
- White aluminum roasting pan, Horeca size: the large pan for roasts, chickens, and restaurant-sized baked goods.
Horeca and generous home cooking
The Horeca line also works outside of the restaurant industry: large families, Sunday lunches for the whole extended family, holiday dinners. In all these cases, a 24 cm pot just isn't enough. The larger sizes of the Horeca line cover these volumes.
Made in Italy for Italian restaurants
The Mamù Horeca line is produced in Italy, in the same factory as the cookware for home kitchens. The construction is the same, but the sizes are larger. For those who cook with traditional Italian tools, rather than imported pots and pans, the Horeca Mamù line is the natural choice.

Painting
At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.
- Surface pretreatment for perfect anchoring
- High-resistance 7-phase painting cycle
- Special finishes and stone effect
Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.
- Mechanical transformation from disc to pot body
- Impression of the technical drawing on the bottom
- Fully automated pressing process
