In the 1960s, Mario Mugnano , still very young, took his first steps working in his father's factory, learning the secrets of the process.

Painting
At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

The nonstick square grill pan is the most versatile grill pan: it takes up the same amount of space on the stovetop as a round one, but the square surface offers more usable area. From steak to burgers, from chicken to vegetables—everything works. Mamù produces it in PFOA-free nonstick aluminum, available in a classic version and a induction-resistant, thick-walled version. Made in Italy, at factory prices.
Nonstick square grill pan: the classic version
The PFOA-free nonstick aluminum square grill pan works on gas, electric, and glass-ceramic hobs. With the scratch-resistant coating, you can grill meat, fish, and vegetables with very little oil. The raised ridges leave classic cooking marks and drain grease into the grooves. The square shape offers more usable surface area than a round grill pan of the same external dimensions.
Available in three sizes: small for 1-2 people, medium for families, and large for large portions. Prices start at €5.50 for the most compact version.
Square induction grill pan with extra-thickness
The induction version with extra-thickness withstands high temperatures without warping over time. The reinforced base distributes heat evenly across the entire surface, eliminating colder spots in the corners that cook less well in thin-bottomed grill pans. Compatible with all hobs: gas, electric, glass ceramic, and induction.
Why the square shape is the most versatile
With the square grill pan, you can cook more than the rectangular and round versions:
- For steaks: the square surface covers standard 200-300g cuts without waste
- For hamburgers: 2-4 burgers fit neatly at once
- For vegetables: sliced zucchini, eggplant, and peppers line up in a row across the entire grill
- For chicken: thighs and breasts cover the surface without unnecessary gaps
Cleaning is easy: the non-stick coating does not retain cooking residue. Warm water and a soft sponge are enough.
