Mamù Cookware

For over 70 years guided by passion, design and innovation Made in Italy

Mamù was born from the experience gained over 70 years of producing aluminum pans and pots. The first generation of the Mugnano family entered the world of cookware in 1950. In the 1960s, Mario Mugnano , still very young, took his first steps working in his father's factory, learning the secrets of the process.

After years of passion and dedication, Mario Mugnano brought his vision to life , creating his first company producing nonstick aluminum cookware with his sons. This same passion led his sons to work side by side with him.

Painting

Painting

At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

  • Surface pretreatment for perfect anchoring
  • High-resistance 7-phase painting cycle
  • Special finishes and stone effect

The saucepan with one handle is the most agile version of the saucepan. With the long handle, you can maneuver the pot with one hand, tilt it to pour, and stir without burning yourself. For sauces that require frequent stirring, for soups, for béchamel sauce, and for sweet and savory creams. Mamù produces it in PFOA-free nonstick aluminum and in an induction-safe version. Made in Italy.

Saucepan with one nonstick handle

The nonstick with glass lid version combines the convenience of a single handle with a PFOA-free scratch-resistant coating and a lid that retains steam without losing liquid. For cooking that requires frequent covering and uncovering, for risottos, and for creams that need to reduce gradually. The glass lid lets you monitor cooking without opening the pot.

The long handle is the main advantage over a two-handled saucepan: with one hand you hold the pot, with the other you stir, pour with precision, and tilt without risk. For preparations that require attention and constant stirring, the single handle is the more practical choice.

Single-handled saucepan for induction

The heavy-duty induction version is available in three sizes, with a reinforced base for induction hobs: it withstands high temperatures without warping, distributes heat evenly, and is compatible with all hobs. The right version if you have an induction hob and want the convenience of a single handle for everyday cooking.

For which preparations should you use a saucepan with a single handle?

  • Béchamel: requires constant stirring with a whisk; the handle frees up the other hand.
  • Creams and pureed soups: stir frequently and pour precisely into the dish.
  • Quick sauces: tomato, cooked pesto, garlic and oil, quick preparations that require attention.
  • Milk and hot drinks: pour with more control than with a pot with two handles.
  • Polenta: requires constant stirring and the ability to tilt the pot for pouring.
