Painting
At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

The non-stick oval baking pan is the perfect shape for baked whole fish, elongated roasts, and vegetable gratins that don't fit in a rectangular dish. The oval shape reduces the empty space around the food compared to a rectangular baking pan: the heat is concentrated on the food, resulting in more even cooking. Mamù produces it in 7-layer PFOA-free non-stick aluminum, available in three sizes. Made in Italy.
What foods is the oval baking pan designed for?
The oval baking pan is designed for foods with a naturally oval or elongated shape:
- Baked whole fish: sea bass, gilt-head bream, sea bass, trout. They fit in whole without being folded, and the oval shape reduces the air gap at the sides where heat is dispersed.
- Stuffed meat and chicken rolls: the shape follows the roll throughout cooking.
- Irregular roasts, which don't fit well in a rectangular baking pan with exposed corners.
- Potato and vegetable gratin: they fit more compactly in an oval dish, without empty corners that burn.
7-layer coating: fish doesn't stick.
Baked fish sticks to the bottom of the pan easily, especially during long cooking times. With the 7-layer, scratch-resistant, PFOA-free coating, the fish comes off once cooked without breaking. Cook with little or no oil: fish stays moist and flavorful without drying out.
Three sizes available
The Mamù oval baking pan is available in three sizes to meet the most common needs:
- The smallest size is for single fish weighing 300-400g and gratins for 2-3 people.
- The medium size is for fish weighing 600-800g and roasts for 4-6 people.
- The largest size is for large fish, generous roulades, and cooking for large families.
