Painting
At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.

The nonstick round pan is the classic pizza pan: low edges, a wide surface, and a flat bottom to distribute heat evenly across the dough. With its scratch-resistant, PFOA-free, 7-layer coating, you can remove the pizza without tearing the base, remove whole savory pies, and clean in one step. Mamù produces it from Italian aluminum. Made in Italy.
Round pizza pan: proportions that matter
A round pizza requires a flat bottom and low edges that don't interfere with rolling out the dough. The nonstick round pan has these proportions: the edges hold the dough while it rises in the pan, but they aren't high enough to shade the surface and slow down the browning process. The flat bottom distributes heat across the entire base, eliminating crispy areas in the center and undercooked areas on the sides.
The PFOA-free, 7-layer anti-scratch coating allows you to use very little oil on the bottom without compromising the release. Pizza comes off cleanly, even with highly hydrated doughs that stick in uncoated pans.
Round pan: uses beyond pizza
The round pan works for round quiches and savory pies, low focaccias, round savory cakes, and desserts that require a shallow pan, unlike a cake pan with high sides. The round shape takes up a good amount of space in your oven, and heat is distributed across the entire surface.
Round pan and cake pan: the practical difference
The round pan has low edges, designed for flat preparations. The cake pan has higher edges, for leavened cakes that rise. Pizza and low focaccia: round pan. Birthday cakes and leavened cakes: cake pan. The choice depends on how much the cake rises during baking.
