Mamù Cookware
For over 50 years guided by passion, design and innovation Made in Italy
Mamù was born from the experience gained over 50 years of producing aluminum pans and pots. The first generation of the Mugnano family entered the world of cookware in 1970. In the 1960s, Mario Mugnano , still very young, took his first steps working in his father's factory, learning the secrets of the process.
After years of passion and dedication, Mario Mugnano brought his vision to life , creating his first company producing nonstick aluminum cookware with his sons. This same passion led his sons to work side by side with him.
The Mamù Serving Line brings the Cook & Serve philosophy to the table: pans and micro-saucepans made of 99.5% pure, high-thickness aluminum with iron handles that go directly from the stove to the table. Born in Michelin-starred restaurants, today it brings the gourmet experience to home dinners. Made in Italy.
Cook & Serve: cook and serve in the same container
The idea behind the Serving Line is simple and powerful: the pan in which you cooked the dish is the same one you bring to the table. No transfer to a plate, no heat loss, no anonymous presentation. The white pan on a wooden or slate charger transforms a normal appetizer into a restaurant-worthy dish. Dinner at home becomes an experience.
This philosophy was born in the kitchens of starred restaurants, where Cook & Serve is a presentation tool as well as a cooking tool: the food arrives at the table in the same container in which it was prepared, at maximum temperature, with the presentation the chef intended. The Mamù Serving Line brings this approach to the home kitchen with accessible, Italian-quality tools.
Mini and elegant design: the single-portion that amazes
The Serving Line formats are designed to contain the ideal portion for one person:
- Two-handled pan: the classic Cook & Serve format. Serve, with two iron handles that allow you to carry it safely to the table without burning yourself.
- Single-serving micro-saucepan: for stews, hot soups, and single-serving risottos that arrive piping hot in their own container.
The small size is not a limiting factor: each pan holds exactly the right portion for one guest. The presentation is meticulous, the result is uniform, and the food remains in the optimal container from cooking to the end of the meal.
99.5% pure aluminum: heat that lasts
The pans in the Serving Line are made of high-thickness 99.5% pure aluminum: the same material as the professional Mamù line, which guarantees two fundamental advantages for Cook & It serves.
The first is lightning heat conduction: 99.5% pure aluminum is the best heat conductor available among cookware materials—it distributes heat instantly and evenly across the entire surface of the pan, eliminating cold spots at the edges and ensuring that every part of the dish cooks at the same temperature.
The second is heat retention at the table: by cooking and serving directly in the thick-gauge aluminum pan, the aluminum retains the heat accumulated on the stove and releases it slowly throughout the meal. The guest eats the dish piping hot from start to finish—not lukewarm, as often happens when food is transferred to a cold plate.
Iron handles: elegance and practicality
The iron handles of the Serving Line are an integral part of the design: the burnished or natural iron contrasts with the white aluminum, creating a clean and distinctive aesthetic. From a practical standpoint, the iron handles are easy to handle and sturdy—they allow you to move the pan from the stove to the serving plate easily, even during service.
How to use the Serving Line
- Individual hot appetizers: eggs en cocotte, sautéed mushrooms, scallops au gratin—each guest receives their own pan directly from the kitchen.
- Single-portion first courses: risottos, soups, short pasta in sauce—the portion cooks in the pan and is served as is.
- Gourmet second courses and side dishes: meat reduction, braised vegetables, individual potato gratin.
- Hot desserts: chocolate fondant, fruit crumble, crème brûlée cooked directly in the pan. Saucepan
Place the saucepan on a wooden or slate charger to complete the presentation and protect the tablecloth. The contrast between the white aluminum and the natural wood or textured slate is the Italian Cook & Serve aesthetic.

Painting
At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.
- Surface pretreatment for perfect anchoring
- High-resistance 7-phase painting cycle
- Special finishes and stone effect
Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.
