Mamù was born from the experience gained over 50 years of producing aluminum pans and pots. The first generation of the Mugnano family entered the world of cookware in 1970. In the 1960s, Mario Mugnano , still very young, took his first steps working in his father's factory, learning the secrets of the process.
After years of passion and dedication, Mario Mugnano brought his vision to life , creating his first company producing nonstick aluminum cookware with his sons. This same passion led his sons to work side by side with him.
The Dual Mamù line consists of non-stick pan sets in combinations of sizes designed for everyday Italian cooking, with a single purchase. 7-layer anti-scratch PTFE coating, select aluminum, available in multiple configurations. Made in Italy.
A line composed exclusively of sets
The Dual line consists exclusively of sets. No individual pieces, no separate sizes: each product is a combination of complementary tools. Anyone who wants to equip themselves with a functional kitchen needs multiple sizes at the same time, and the sets in the Dual line arrive already optimized for everyday Italian cooking.
The line's core set includes the three most popular sizes: 16, 20, and 24 cm. The 16 cm pan is for eggs in the morning and quick sauces. The 20 cm pan is for single or double portions of main courses. The 24 cm pan is for meat, fish, and hearty sautés. Three sizes, three different contexts, one purchase.
The 7-Layer PTFE Coating
All products in the Dual line feature the 7-Layer PTFE coating: seven layers of pure nonstick for low-fat cooking, easy cleaning, and consistent performance even after intensive daily use. With 7 layers, the coating is thicker, more resistant to scratches and wear, and maintains its non-stick properties much longer than the 1-2 layer coatings of cheaper pans.
How to choose the Dual set
The sets from the Dual line are available in different combinations for every type of kitchen:
- Set of 3 pans ⌀ 16/20/24 cm: the complete combination for all daily preparations, from the smallest to the largest
- Set of 2 pans in complementary sizes: you already have one size and want to complete your set with the second most useful one

Made in Italy: certified quality
Like all Mamù products, the Dual line sets are made in Italy. The selected aluminum distributes heat evenly across the entire surface, with no hot spots in the center that burn food, while the edges remain cool. The 7-layer PTFE coating is applied in Italy with Mamù production controls.

Painting
At this stage, the raw aluminum disc is prepared and enhanced through a sophisticated 7-layer painting process on both sides. This advanced technology ensures maximum adhesion of the coating and allows for the creation of high-quality finishes, from glossy black to a textured stone effect.

Molding
The painted discs are transferred to the stamping department where, using high-precision automated presses, the metal is cold-molded. This process transforms the flat disc into the three-dimensional body of the pot, simultaneously defining its structure and the design of the base.
